So far this Autumn, I have stocked up on HM Shirts, reworked Levis, am trying to decide on block heel ankle boots but I won’t need a coat, as I was lucky to find the perfect floor skimming one from RSPV . Run by the gorgeous Pippa Vosper, this is a bargain hunters dream, she runs sample sales with the most glorious pieces, at near to highstreet prices.
The coat below is from Antonio Berardi, OK my husband hates it as it reminds him of Darth Vader but I just LOVE THIS COAT. This seasons coats, are more fitted than the oversized coats, of last season and hit ankle length.
I like to find my coats Preloved or in Sample Sales. You cannot hide, in the daylight and a great coat is my armour.
Yes this is not for everyone and I even had to have this coat adjusted so it did not touch the ground, check one of my older posts for details of who I use. If you are shorter then I would go mid calf to avoid feeling swamped.
I will be wearing my coat with my Levis and a cashmere, or as styled here with a denim jumpsuit. This is a simple look that is classic and so easy to pull off. I love it, as I never have time to plan outfits and this coat is an outfit in itself.
Check out RSPV, for the next sale, they have just ended a Self Portrait one.
My best advise to find a similar coat is to check out Matches in the Sale section.
Check out the Outnet, they have the Carven coat seen on all the bloggers last Winter. I tried on a brilliant oversized calf length coat at HM, it is not online though and is by far the best on the Highstreet.
Thank you to Shanaz Coles, one of my closest friends, who is an amazing stylist and we will be, working on some School Run styling projects together in the next months.
