I bet that your Inbox is now starting to fill up with ‘New Season Arrivals’.
The good news is that it is going to be more of the same on the fashion front. Retailers are nervous post Covid and are not taking any risks; so it’s another round of joggers / leggings / boyfriend blazers / pastel colours and midi dresses.
The only new trend that I can see on the horizon (might be a bit of wishful thinking) is OUT OUT statement evening wear, although I’m not fully convinced that we are ready yet…
In the meantime put your money into items that you will wear day to day, not something you will pull out once for an event and I have said before to look back at what YOU wore and enjoyed wearing, not what anyone else is convincing you to buy.
Here is my own personal MOOD BOARD.
The links to shop are below!
A great hoodie is a must for Autumn. No one wants to get their coats out too early!! I spotted a Victoria Beckham one on sale. Les Tien are famous for their super soft leisure wear and the new season pieces are glorious. I spotted a soft cream sweatshirt on sale from Vika (size down). I really want one of the Ralph Lauren cashmere heritage sweaters.
The new season Raey joggers have also just gone live and these sell out fast. I have my eye on the white ones to pair with a denim shirt. Raey have also just released their boyfriend cashmere jumpers which sell out so quickly. Also don’t forget to check out American Vintage I adore the Ikatown collection.
New Balance are my favourite trainers, again they sold out last year before Autumn even got started.
If money was no object, I would be all over the Breton cardigan from Khaite.
Homme Girls shirts are my the perfect boyfriend shape and the brand have just restocked.
Raey have also released some of their Autumn coats and they are topping my Sales Wish List.
Leggings are my Autumn favourites and Ernest Leoty are expensive, but will take inches off your waist.
Given that we all wear denim jeans in the evening, it is worth holding out for one perfect pair. I tried these Gucci ones and they are the perfect modern take on a flared pair. Another brand worth checking out is Blaize Milano.
Frankie Shop have reissued their padded khaki jacket and I spotted this funnel neck khaki jacket from Frame which has just been released. Not to mention the padded version from Toteme that I am lusting after.
The first thing I will be looking for is a couple of new white t-shirts to layer under a cardigan this Autumn. Ninety Percent always stock simple yet beautifully made t-shirts. I have already ordered the Sonoma.
The hottest bag of the season is the Flamenco from Loewe, it is slouchy and made from the softest leather. It comes in a myriad of sizes. Hereu is another brilliant Spanish bag brand, practical yet very contemporary.
