I have been told again and again to cover my chest, as it is the part of your body that gets the most sun and hence shows the signs of ageing first.
Yes my chest is the part of my body that betrays my 45 years, pigmentation, scaly skin it just looks plain abused. I have tried using high factors but it just doesn’t cut it any more. Last holiday I smeared on factor 90 and still I came back with a radioactive chest!
The only answer is to cover up, in Los Angeles last year I noticed that everyone wears a rash vest on the beach, easy for them as they have year round sunshine. So I started to track down the ones that didn’t make me look like an overgrown 5 year old. Try and void the tankini longer style, as they tend to make you look thicker around the waist, I would normally not have gone for a cropped version but this one is super flattering.
I adore Cocobay as they stock Seafolly my bikini of choice, so I checked their site first.
I found the Nectarine Coast to Coast top which I can throw over my bikinis , it is cropped which means I can continue to sun my tummy but avoid frying my decollage. It is really light weight and easy to get on and off. I have tried so many and they are like straight jackets and I know I wouldn’t use them. You can layer a bikini top underneath too or use as a bikini top itself if you don’t need too much support.
Use the code SCHOOLGATES16, to get 20% off! I bought the matching bottoms but it would look as good with a simple pair of white ones. I would also recommend Shopbop or Prism for other options. Also don’t forget to use Vitamin C, to help fade any existing pigmentation and avoid anymore .
Thank you Heartcore for getting me bikini ready, despite my perchant for Rose and all things bread related. Heartcore is all about focussing on our problems areas.
For me it is not about size or weight , I just wanted less jiggle and tighter skin and not to have to think about being in a bikini or swimsuit. With work and the kids off school soon, I have enough on deal with. I have little time and that I have, has to deliver results and I have to enjoy it.
Wishing you all a great weekend !
