I first encountered Bimba and Lola in Spain. They have since opened up shops all over London and have a great online presence.
To be honest, for a long time I would find the odd thing I liked but in reality, I felt it was best suited to wearing in Spain as it was typically very bright .
Having read a few articles about their new designer and Vogue calling it, ‘a more colourful version of Sandro”, I thought I should pop in and check it out for myself.
I was bowled over, the hats, the shoes , the scarves and accessories were fantastic.
I walked away with a gorgeous pair of python low heeled boots, which are super comfortable. I wanted a boot I could wear with skirts and trousers and all black seemed to boring.
Python is a tricky material but these boots are finished well and the material is sumptuous.
If you are looking for stylish presents this is the place to go, I stocked up with trendy notebooks, cosmetic bags and umbrellas.
This boot comes in black and red too.
I have been looking for a waterproof boot which is lined to walk Romeo and I love this one from Bimba and Lola, the key is the comfort and these felt like gloves I could not decide between the green and black ! The quality is akin to that at Prada.
I love to give unusual accessories as gifts and the citrus yellow of this hat really stood out as well as the pattern on these notebooks and cosmetic bags .
I visited the branch on South Molton Street where Carla and Carol are so helpful and knowledgeable.
I am styling the boots with my gorgeous white coat from Sportmax the lovely Rachel sourced for me at Matches.
I don’t need work wear but if I did, this brand would be top of my list, I love the more conservative shapes paired with great pattern and colours.
Please share with us any other great brands you love and Bimba and Lola have a mid season sale on at the moment!
