I have been doing regular facials for years, I eat well, take supplements and slather my face in sun cream but eventually it just isn’t enough.

I have been debating whether to try botox for a while now, I am not really worried about the wrinkles but in the last year or so I have noticed, a lack of tightening of the skin around my jawline. I have been canvassing opinion on who to go to and one name came up again and again and that is Dr.Prager. He is known for a light natural look , it also helped that a family member who looks amazing gave him  the seal of approval.

From the moment I spoke to the lovely Maria on reception, I was put at ease, she is very down to earth and helpful.

I was nervous going in but Dr Prager is lovely and looks and acts like a proper doctor and being German adds to that feeling of clinical precision. The  first thing he does, is photograph your face with a very high tech camera, so you can see all the various angles.

I know I would never do it but there is something about being in the full glare of light and having a doctor to hand and I felt myself asking if he could remove the deep set lines by my mouth and eyebrow . But he didn’t feel  I needed it  and didn’t recommend it.    He felt my chin area would be lifted by a little botox and the ‘double chin’ softened. I would look exactly the same, wrinkles and all  just less ‘droopy’ ! To freshen the complexion and to aid collagen production he recommended a light resurfacing .

So I am booked in for September and I cannot wait! I promise a before and after picture.

I am wearing a shirt by Zara, buy this as in the sale and I want these pearls by Georgiana Scott they are on my Winter Wish List. I love the the formality of peals worn with such a casual look.

I would love to hear your stories ..
