My husband and I are married 10 years this year, and as we are still sublimely happy and are blessed with divine friends and family we wanted to party.

So what to wear?

I wanted to feel comfortable but obviously, I wanted to wear something special too.

I looked at loads of dresses and jumpsuits but ended up with this outfit from Outnet. The shorts and top are from Chloe and they are one of my favourite buys of Summer 2015.

Miu Miu Glitter Heels

We thought about doing it in our garden but to be honest, with us both so busy we felt that going to a venue where we could leave all the tidying to someone else a much easier option.

We wanted something low key and relaxed so we settled on KpH in Notting Hill- the room is huge and I know that the chef is really good. It was also super reasonable.

We wanted to have a disco so I spent ages compiling my playlist; great people and music are the key to any great party.

I wanted lovely flowers and I used Scarlet and Violet. Their arrangements look like they could have come from a country garden.

I also wanted the room to smell of country flowers so I asked Primrose Hill Candles  to make me a batch of Pomegranate Noir. I lit the candles 30 minutes before everyone arrived and when they did they were greeted by a subtle smell of wild flowers.

Co-ords- as they are called- are just so easy if you don’t fancy wearing a dress. Topshop, Atterley Road ,Matches and Zara do fantastic ones.
