If you are looking for somewhere to visit at the weekend pop over to Connaught Village, go for a walk in Hyde Park and then wander over.
Connanught Village is a prestigious enclave of London, home to Tony Blair and Claudia Winkleman to name but a few, I had been told about a great boutique called Viola which is located there so after dropping my husband and kids at Winter Wonderland I decided to pop in, as it is only around the corner.
On my way I wandered through the village which is small but offers a great array of beautiful shops and fabulous places to eat.
If you fancy a bite to eat there is the fabulous restaurant Kurabuta, going there on Saturday so let you know how I get on!
The piece de resistence is Viola, this is a truly great boutique with an owner to match, the gorgeous Sara Lauchlan, chatted away while I tried on an array of glorious cashmere, coats and dresses Sarah has an ecclectic eye for clothes that fit and are wearable.
A lot of the pieces you won’t find anywhere else and the look is everyday classy rock chic.
I decided on this Bella Freud 1970 sweater , I have debated this sweater for as quite expensive but it is fit so well and it is a special year for me!
This sweater is a year round piece, I am wearing it here with leggings and in the summer I will pair it with a black maxi skirt.
I have tried on so many striped sweaters but somehow never found the right one, Madelaine Thompson is the Queen of stripes and her cashmere fits beautifully, I have lived in this one.
I fell in love with this beautiful coat from Bonheur , you cannot beat camel and fur it is a killer combination.
The atmosphere is really relaxed and the pieces so well curated that you just cannot go wrong. I guarantee you any pieces you buy you will live in, I have !
I have added some other great finds from Viola below.
