Given it is Christmas and food or restaurants are proberly the last thing on your mind, I couldn’t help sharing this great restaurant with you.
If you do get the chance to visit Dublin, make time to visit Trocadero
Trocadero, is an irish institution for over 57 years, and has lasted the course, it is located just of the shopping mecca of Grafton Street in the centre of town. The building is a gorgeous georgian gem and the interior is art deco.
What strikes you first is how busy it is and I mean this in a positive , happening way. We were a party of ten and we we were seated quickly and our drinks orders taken, we then had a chance to peruse the menu.
They had a reasonable priced fixed menu, the food is classic European, the goats cheese starter was truely special as well as the hake I had as a main.
This is the perfect restaurnt to come with a big group to celebrate, they are used to dealing with bigger parties and the ambience is very warm and the service super efficient .
The menu is varied enough to cater for all tastes, important when trying to entertain a larger group.
Robert Doggett , will always ensure you have rip roaring night, important if you are entertaining clients or celebrating a special event.
We were celebrating a family meal with lots of children so we didn’t get a chance to sample the cocktails, I will be back though, before I head back to London.
