I remember going to Dunnes Stores as a child, to get my uniform or other basics, but as I haven’t lived in Ireland for over twenty years I really haven’t been in there much.

I was on a short trip and ran out of underwear for my kids, so I popped in there. It has changed so much, the children’s wear in particular is really good! Think Marks and Spencer, only better.

They now deliver to the UK and they have really embraced designer collaborations.

My Dunnes Winter White

I don’t usually post on children but I really wanted to share this brand with you, as it is not easy to find well priced, high quality children’s clothes.

I bought these great pieces for my daughter Luella while I was there this time.

This party dress is exquisite, and from a collaboration with Leigh Tucker.

I bought this simple coat too as it is so simply cut and Luella loved it .

The boys clothes are also sensational, in particular the Paul Costelloe collection, which has great well cut blazers, shirts and suits.

The homewares are such good value, so take a look if you want some well priced pieces. I was looking for some lanterns for New Years Eve and there they were at a fraction of the price of other places I had looked.

The mens clothes  had a real feel of The Kooples and I will be taking Anthony there when we head back at Christmas.

2015-10-21 05.18.23A lot of the great womens wear pieces had already sold out, but  I spotted this great cape in the perfect shade of charcoal, with a hood.

2015-10-21 05.26.34I did pick up with wonderful winter white sweater for twenty five pounds.

I have my eye on the Lennon  Courtney collaboration, so if you are looking for a great coat or knitwear, check out Dunnes Stores.
