I love eBay and even have my own shop, where I sell my clothes and those of my friends.
The key to finding great pieces on Ebay is to use it regularly and to be search for something specific.
Balmain for H&M is hitting the stores tomorrow and there is no way I have the time to queue up, but I will hold off a couple of weeks and I know I will pick up the jacket I want. Yes I may have to pay a little more but if you are patient for a few weeks the prices will drop. I have attached a great post on the rules around the sale if you are going! I want the white blazer and there are already loads online on eBay.
When I found the outfit below I was searching for oversized knits and midi skirts – you have to wade through the pages of items, only then do you strike gold.
I love Ebay for finding pieces that sold out first time round, but you have to persevere. I promise you it will be worth it
The skirt I found is Issey Miyake, and cost forty pounds. The sweater is one of the sold out Zara pieces that I never got my hands on first time round – I found another one still for sale.
There are also loads of Miyake pieces on Ebay, as well as this great oversized knit from Zara.
I also save my favourite brand as a search and I get an email alert when anyone loads the items.
If you buy from an Ebay shop they also have to accept returns so there is little risk; it will be stated in the description the returns policy.
So what I am I searching for at the moment ? I would love to track down a great silk pussy bow blouse and below are really well priced eBay options, with prices starting at under ten pounds for 100 % silk! I will also be waiting to get my hands on the Balmain blazer from H&M, I will wait a few weeks but it will hit Ebay.
