My husband loves football and in the beginning of our relationship, the sound of football on TV used to really irritate me, now I don’t even hear it . Thats what ten years of marriage brings!
Normally I complain when he heads off to a match, so when he asked me to come with him I felt I had to give it a go.
Now that both children are older he felt it was time to start taking them too.
So with the chance of the kids being match Mascots we headed up north to watch Oldham Athletic, a club my husband is involved with.
I loved it, it is so friendly and you really get up close to the football and they cater so well to families. It truly is a great family day out. We have now been many times and I actually look forward to going, I can hardly believe I am saying that.
Mascot packages are available and from my experience is an amazing day out for any boy or girl, ask for Wendy. My husband is also an Arsenal supporter, has always wanted to be a mascot but at 43 years of age his time may have passed!
The children loved being mascots and with another win we headed to Manchester to celebrate.
I also met the gorgeous girlfriends of the players to see what they were wearing! These stylish girls are a real asset to the club and as far removed from the image of a WAG that I could imagine.
Thank you Alex, Katie and Jess, rocking Zara!
I am heading to Zara to get my hands on those great Zara coated leggings.
I love that Primark necklace!
I decided that comfort would be key so I decided to wear a pair of vintage grey wool trousers from Maison Margiela that I picked up in a vintage shop called MSVintage in LA, a t-shirt from the fabulous Anine Bing, trainers are Chanel and the jacket is from Topshop, it is sold out but I have heard they are getting more stock in so register to be alerted when it comes in again.
We will be heading to Bristol this weekend to support Oldham and hope they continue their thirteen game unbeaten run!
