I met Celine Le Dez a while ago when she was working in London, she is the epitomy of a stylish french woman. She just has the knack of looking stylish without trying.
She just knows what to buy and how to put an outfit together, what I learned from her is to build a wardrobe, so that what ever pieces you invest in, they bring something new to the existing pieces.
Now back in France, we are lucky to have her contribute regularly to our blog, also please check her amazing site Perfect in Paris
Thank you Celine!!
I love that she has picked out the blue and violet, which are I think are such great and flattering colours and carried these through her selction .
Celine has a wonderful eye for colour .
According to Vogue violet is one of the colours of 2015 !
The Shrimps fake fur coat is a great coat to layer over these lighter pieces, I normally hate fake fur but as this is so obviously fake I actually quite like it.
You all know my obsession with Maison Michel hats and I am waiting to find one on Ebay, there is a great black one on Vestaire at the moment .
I live in boyfriend and girlfriend jeans they are so much more comfortable than skinnys, I love mine rolled up with trainers.
I checked out these Warehouse pair after being tipped off by Celine, they fit so well and are just fourty pounds
These Valentino trainers are gorgeous and top of my wish list I love the lace detailing.
These trainers are great in the day with jeans but will take you through to evening and will look super cool paired with this Maje jumpsuit. Another option are these white trainers from Isabel Marant and I love that Celine has picked out the blue detailing.
You cannot beat a good blazer and Vanessa Bruno is top of any well dressed french girls shopping list.
Metallics are the way to accesorize as they go with everything and lift an outfit.
I think the key message is to plan you purchases so that you can mix and match, Celine has decided on a blue/softpink theme and by picking this out in the various pieces they are all tied together.
