I just love a peplum, it makes a jacket or top so much more special and once you put one on a traditional shape feels so boring.

I also think they are universally flattering and balance out any body shape.

You can throw on a peplum jacket and you are instantly dressed up!!

I bought this Cedric Charlier one from Matches and as with all great purchases, it hasn’t left my body since !

This is am amazing designer he used to work at Celine, so you get the same style but at a much more affordable price point.

Today I am wearing it with a wool tracksuit from Woolrich by a great store in Kensal Rise called Supra  and my best investment buy, my Chanel trainers.

Forget lusting after a Chanel bag get yourself a pair of Chanel trainers. Your best bet is to search for them on Vestaire Collective, Ihave bought my in the US as never can get my hands on them here. I have worn them everywhere and I always feel dressed up.

I have worn these non stop since I bought them, they are not cheap there is no other item in my wardrobe which gets the same wear. I originally wasn’t that keen on the tweed Chanel Trainers but now they have grown on me, I feel another obsession coming on.

Here are my other favourite pieces by Cedric Charlier, the bag is on sale at My Wardrobe, the dress is available from Net a Porter ( on my sale list) , the coat is stunning and available at Fenwicks . Thank you Angela for reminding me to try Fenwicks, as they have a gorgeous selection of designers and is well worth a visit.

I would love this dress for New Years Eve, I love the material and the length.

I love the colour blocking on this coat, it reminds me so much of Celine.

Pleases share any of your favourite purchases !!  Love to hear about them, just send us a link to the item or a picture .

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend

Love

Anne Marie
