Raey, the own brand label developed by Matches has long been a favourite of mine. I adore Celine and The Row but these brands are so expensive and they very seldom end up on sale. People also hold onto their pieces so you cannot find really good preloved ones either.
This is where the brand Raey comes in. You get the sumptuous fabrics and classic cuts but at prices which are on par with mid-level brands.
For me, the collection fills in those gaps in your wardrobe for classic pieces you that you will have for ever and will finish and elevate any outfit.
I love vintage and preloved but throwing a Raey hoodie over suddenly makes the look so current. Size down on the hoodie – this is a size small.
All the pieces will work really hard in your wardrobe and I guarantee that when you wear them you will be stopped and asked ‘where is that from’.
The fabrics and cuts are so effortless and are also cut for comfort. Everything I put on I did not want to take off, and they are made for women with real lives who want to be able to dress their clothes up and down.
I will be featuring a lot of the collection as it is one brand that I will actually buy new – as it seldom goes on sale the pieces tend to sell out.
Head to Ledbury Road and try on the collection, the store is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming. Ask for Sabina, she know the pieces that will work with your body shape.
Many readers have asked me about denim shorts and I have struggled as many cut you off at the waist and make your legs look like tree trunks!
The Raey shorts epitomise what makes the collection so special. They are fit for comfort and are so flattering I bought them there and then. They make your waist look smaller and your tummy flatter and also elongate your legs. They are so good you only need one pair and you can pull them out every Summer as they are a classic shape and colour.
There is something for everyone in this collection and it is one that you have to try on, only then you can grasp the fit and the feel of the fabrics on your skin. If shorts are not your thing then check out the rest of the collection.
This post was not sponsored and I paid for my own shorts, they are true to size. Check out Raey online or in store.
I adore vintage, preloved and the high street but sometimes you have to invest in some great classic pieces to finish and lift your look, Raey is my top tip and I promise you, you will never want to take their pieces off.
