Certain things never go out of fashion and a great Breton cardigan tops the list; as well as being a classic investment piece.

Last year I bought the H&M sweater (below) last year, however it has now disintegrated and I am now on the look out for a replacement, it is a lovely shape but the fabric didn’t last at all.

If money was no option ten it would be Khaite, but at price tags of around £1,200 its just too much for me and many others.

I have looked at so many options and landed on two that I have on my WISHLIST.

The first is from Fub (I LOVE everything from this brand!) am busy clearing my old sweaters to reinvest in this one.

Lisa Yang is a brand which my lovely friend Deborah recommended, it is the softest cashmere and her pieces are wearable as they are not too heavy and a dream to put on.  The one below can be found on Lisa Yang website.

I am also looking at preloved and I adore the one below which is £29.

Other options worth checking out are La Ligne.

Warehouse also have a couple of lovely pieces!

I also spotted a few preloved ones here on Ebay and from The Real Real.

In summary, the Khaite one is the holy Grail, I adore the gold buttons and it can also be worn as a jacket or as a top.  The cashmere is soft the sleeves are exquisite but as it is completely out of budget.  I am going to wait until the Lisa Yang one goes on sale or I come across a preloved designer one.
