My test on whether a store or brand is really special, is whether it makes me wish I still had a real job earning proper money. When I first popped into The Place London , I had that feeling.

My heart was palpitating, everything I picked up was just so exquisite. No wading through to find that one thing, it is all fabulous, different and wearable. Best of all I was with one of my  friends and the BEST PERSONAL STYLIST , Deborah Sheridan Taylor.

The Place London

Pop into The Place to be inspired, by the utter beauty of the embroidered clothing made by Alice Archer, who has her studio in the basement . Or to pick up the best pieces from designers such as Sofie D’Hoore , Diana Broussard or Dodobar.

The Alice Archer pieces featured above and below, are expensive but this is art manifested in fashion and a future collectors piece. These are pieces you could wear to any society wedding but at the same time you can dress them down with a pair of jeans too. Her gingham shirts are affordable and on trend.

I want  to improve my use of jewellery in 2016,  I have no idea how to accessorize. These Diana Boussard necklaces, featured below  are just exquisite and top of my list for Autumn.

If I had an hour to spare, I would rather pop into The Place, I promise you will  leave exhilarated and never empty handed.  I will feature what I bought later in the week. Fashion should inspire and I came out of the place buzzing with new ideas.

The Place London

Founder is Simon Burstein, the former boss of Browns launched the shop less than a year ago and you can see his love of real glorious true fashion coming through.

This is not one of those places only to window shop, true some of the brands are more expensive but the t-shirts, jeans and some of the accessories are really affordable.

Though the stock is modern the feel of the shop is out school luxury and it is a breath of fresh air , the staff are welcoming, friendly and warm.

They have just launched online last week and I will be featuring my top picks as well as those from Deborah Sheridan Taylor in the next weeks. They are offering a 20% with the code SUMMERINTHECITY so it is the perfect time to shop.

Check out The Place London online or drop if in to 27 Connaught Street, W2 2AY.

This is not a sponsored post, this is a boutique I absolutely LOVE and it stands out and is so worth checking out.
