I have literally worn the same pair of trainers for three months straight!
So, it’s now time to invest and remember you only need a few fabulous pairs.
The key is to find a style, heel height and colour that goes with everything. Then throw in a bonkers beautiful pair, completely impractical, but so beautiful you just have to have them.
Let’s start with flats, I alternate between two pairs; a nude pair of flip flops from Tkees and a white pair of Birkenstocks from Proenza.
Mules have more or less replaced strappy sandals for me as I just cannot be bothered with all the ties which a sandal entails. I adore the Gia Couture nude pair (featured below) as the straps are moveable; this is great if your feet swell, and the heel height is very comfortable. Another great option is from H&M and these will also go with everything in your wardrobe.
In the Summer I tend to avoid anything too heavy; block heels are often heavy and not always flattering on the ankle. A fabric or suede often works better than leather.
Trainers, one spring lighter pair is brilliant for when it isn’t quite warm enough to wear your sliders and sandals.
