I have waited a few weeks, but it is back to capes. I have been searching for a great black one and came across this one from Vestiaire Collective.

It was the calf length, the interesting neck line, as well as the beautiful wool material that attracted me.  The cape is generous enough so that I can wear a leather jacket underneath, crucial in Winter.

With the lovely lounging days around Christmas ahead of us, I love nothing better than taking a look through what Vestiaire Collective has to offer.

Some of the pieces are second hand or (preloved as they are called now) but this cloak was never worn and came with the labels on.

My advice is to keep checking for something specific, for example my search was black calf length cape. At the moment I have been searching for a red party dress, so I look daily. You can set a search and then any new pieces meeting your requirements are sent to your email.

Also remember that you can make an offer once the item has been on for a while, which is what I do.

The only downside is the time it takes to arrive. Unless you use the Ready to Ship section, the items have to go to Vestiaire to be be checked before being shipped to you.

The prices are still a lot lower than any of the sales on the designer websites, and also it is a great way of finding those sold out pieces that you missed the first time round.

The shoes are Hot Soles, jeans and sweater are all  from TK Maxx , which is always worth checking as they often have some great bargains. Glasses are Celine.

At the moment they have some great Jimmy Choo boots at TK Maxx as well as lots of cashmere hats and gloves.

So happy hunting!!
