I fell in love with a coat at Weekend Max Mara last year but I didn’t strike fast enough and it sold out.  I have been checking the brand out regularly since and it is the first shop, that has enticed me to spend now, rather than wait for the sales.

The brand, has the finish and glorious materials of Max Mara but all the pieces, have  a modern twist and it is less expensive. From great parkas and coats,  to the best fitted shirts, cropped denim, statement clutches and gorgeous shoes, the brand has been the one to tempt me, this season.

I know this is not for everyone but I love these furry slides and I will wear them day in day out.  The other option, is a gorgeous pair of navy blue backless slippers, they are really well priced  and so well finished that you just want to pick them up and stroke them.

I fell in love with the sheepskin coat, pictured below, it is super warm but not at all heavy or boxy, this is a true classic investment piece, which is what this brand excels in.

The Weekend brand, doesn’t feel office like, which I think the Max Mara brand can do but it offers the same timeless elegance, that will lift any outfit.

The clutches are so unusual and as I love an oversized clutch there was no way this was not coming home with me. The clutches come in a myriad of sizes and colours and are again so well priced.

I would also check out the dresses and jewellery , if you are in Notting Hill, head to the store, the staff are really helpful and not at all pushy just know their stuff and want you to find the pieces, that work for you.
