I hate packing and I am dreadful at it, as I always want to take so many options with me and this leads to the looks of disbelief when my husband does the case weigh in!
I do find thinking outfits is a better way, so in today’s post I want to show you what I am packing for my trip to Spain. We have been going for years at this time of the year, so I know from days freezing on a beach what to pack.
I know that the weather can be really changeable from 25 degree heat to rain, so this is not the time to pack high summer clothing. In the evening it is chilly and too cold for me to have my legs on show.
This all adds up to a packing nightmare!

Today I am looking at Daywear , I like to layer my swimwear under tracksuits for the cooler days and shorts for the warmer ones. Then to make sure I am not cold I add light weight jackets and a great scarf.
I love Sundry for lightweight ,well priced tracksuits but Topshop has a great selection of joggers and I love to dress them up with a cotton blazer, I love Ralf Lauren for that preppy look and House of Fraser have loads of the lightweight cotton ones in sale.

Zadig and Voltaire do the best light weight scarves , I have had this one for years the key is to buy oversized and a great nude colour that goes with everything. Zara is doing the perfect one this season .

I live in slides when I am away, I bought these Celine ones two years ago, Zara do great slides at such wonderful prices. If you want to invest I love the new Isabel Marant ones. I know these shoes don’t look pretty but they work in the Spring and Summer as a contrast to more lightweight clothing, I promise once you try them on you will be convinced.

For the pool I still prefer Havaianas , I love this studded pair from their exclusive collection.

I buy all my shorts from Zara and I go up a size for an oversized look in denim and and I also love the more fitted dayshorts. I have tested so may brands but Zara cannot beat beaten on price, variety and fit.

Then invest in a great shirt to throw over your shorts, I love Massimo Dutti as the linen is great and they wash well.

A great white dress , I love this one from Aloe, down from over two hundred and fifty pounds to sixty five and team it with a denim shirt.

Let me know what you will be packing this summer!
